Historic Lodging on California's North Coast
Filled with turn of the century antiques, Victorian window treatments, wallpapers and matching reproduction linens, the rooms of the Hotel Ivanhoe are elegantly comfortable, warm and reminiscent of an era when the 130-year old hostelry was one of the finest of its kind. An official stop on the only stagecoach line to the Petrolia coast, it played host to cattle barons, butterfat kings, cowboys, and commuting "commercial men." All four non-smoking rooms feature cable television, telephones, individual radiant heat, in-room coffee and tea service, and private baths. All rooms have access to a comfortable upstairs parlor and reading/game room.

This room offers a very calm atmosphere while relaxing in the sitting area's velvet covered rocking chair. The spacious private bathroom features a pedestal sink and shower. $145 per night

The Queen size sleigh bed and puff quilt provide a comfortable place to sleep in this room that overlooks the Wildcat Mountain from two windows. Shades of tan and maroon offer a "Western" Victorian atmosphere with an armoire and mirrored dresser equipped with a pitcher and bowl. The private bath offers a shower and unique pull chain water closet. $95 per night

This very private room offers a mahogany Queen bed with a floral quilt, a unique vanity, and armoire. Overlooking Main Street, this romantic room is filled with shades of purple, lavender, pinks, greens, and dark woodwork. The bright, oversized tiled bath includes a clawfoot tub and shower, and a large dressing area. $125 per night

This room offers a Queen bed with a wall canopy and a comfortable mahogany rocking chair. Brightly decorated "western style" in shades of yellow, burgundy and greens. This room has two windows, does not offer a view, but it is the most quiet and private of the four rooms. The uniquely tiled private bath provides a large shower with a bench. $95 per night

Reservations & Check-in
- Rates are double occupancy.
- All taxes will be applied to room charge.
- There is a two night minimum when staying Saturday night.
- Rates vary for Holiday and Special Events and are subject to change.
Cancellation: A 48-hour advance notice for cancellation is required to avoid a one-night charge.
Check in between 3pm and 10pm. We carefully prepare for your timely arrival and cannot welcome you prior to 3pm. If you cannot arrive by 10pm, please telephone for special arrangements.
Check out time is 11am.
The hotel is not equipped to accommodate small children or pets.
Please no smoking in the rooms. Smoking permitted in the lobbly or outside.
